Well in 10 days we will leave behind our home of 4 years... We have so enjoyed this beautiful property and home and will always have wonderful memories of our time here.
Our moving plans include the ABC Moving Team (a group of men from our church who minister to people by moving them) arriving at our home at 1:00 next Friday and John will work with them to get all of our belongings from here to our new home. I will pick up B, J, K and D from school then pick up K our babysitter and head out to the new house to meet the first load. K will watch B and D in an out of the way room and J, K and I will help the men get everything in to the house.
At 6:00 K, J and I will head to the church for the Pre Teen Girls' Christmas Party. The girls are going to be decorating cookies (and many other fun activities) . These will be included in baskets we hand out at Christmas to families in need within our community.
Monday will be a Pro D day for our children and then Tuesday they have dentist appointments in Nanaimo, so not much unpacking will be happening until Wednesday I guess.
Heather and Andrea have been busy with a fundraiser for our adoption expenses. They made beautiful Christmas stockings, and are selling Purdy's chocolates. Thank you Heather and Andrea for all your efforts to raise awareness for our adoption. I was always excited to hear of the connections Heather and Andrea were making through their fundraiser. Getting the word out about these kiddos who are languishing in orphanages is so important. Thank you girls!!
Krista is on a 10 day first aid and out camping training course at Camp Homewood. What a wonderful experience for you Krista.
The only news we have heard from Bulgaria is that our money order wasn't accepted by their bank so we had to get money wired to them. At least we know something is happening!!
I want to ask each of you who are reading this to go to www.reecesrainbow.org
and check out the Christmas Angel Tree Project. Your gift for one of these precious babes would be a very meaningful Christmas gift for a loved one. For each gift of $35 you will receive a Reece's Rainbow christmas tree ornament with the picture of the child you sponsor on the back of the ornament.
I hope to update our blog before we move-maybe with some new adoption news!!

Best of luck in moving! Exciting news about Bulgaria. What is the next step for you, because you already have a referrel? Will it be a travel date once they get through your paperwork? We are still waiting on the UK, haven't heard anything good or bad from them.
I hope you get news from the UK soon. We have no idea of a timeline for us but we also want this adoption to be in God's perfect timing so are waiting patiently. I will definitely blog with any news as soon as we hear!
blessings,
Mary Ellen
